Clear answers before you enrol.

01Can a complete beginner join?

Yes. This New World wine introduction starts with colour, aroma and structure in the glass. You do not need to know brands or regions beforehand.

02What language is used?

The class is conducted in Mandarin and the digital materials are in Chinese. There is currently no English or Malay class.

03How long is the course and when is it held?

This is one 2.5-hour class on Saturday, 10 October 2026, from 2:00pm to 4:30pm in Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur.

04How many wines will I taste?

You will compare five wines aligned to five key red grapes, then identify differences in aroma, acidity, tannin and body.

05Which countries will the class compare?

The class compares Australia, New Zealand, Chile, Argentina and South Africa, connecting country and climate to style in the glass.

06Will I receive proof of attendance?

After completion, attendance and scoring are confirmed, you may download a numbered digital Certificate of Attendance with a verification QR. It is not certification, a diploma, professional qualification or an internationally accredited credential.

07How do I enrol now?

The official payment link is being prepared, so this page does not collect payment yet. You may contact Emily on WhatsApp; the primary buttons will be updated when payment opens.

08Will I receive both guides?

Yes. After enrolment is confirmed, you will receive digital access instructions for the Wine Buying Guide and Wine × Cheese Pairing Guide.

09What about absence, refunds or transfers?

JWC Academy confirms refund, transfer, make-up and cancellation arrangements case by case. If this affects your decision, ask Emily through the WhatsApp button before paying.

10Is this a WSET course?

No. This is a practical JWC Academy New World wine tasting class. It does not award a WSET qualification or other credential.
